The Wildo Fireflash Pro Small Firesteel is reliable and easy to use, based on the Swedish military fire steel ferrocerium rods that are now used by the worlds special forces units.

The rod which is made from ferrocerium is scraped by a striker, producing hot sparks that are comprised of the friction-ignited burning metal of the ferro rod.
These sparks burn at over 5000 degrees F and easily ignite all types of tinder.
Produces hot sparks even in cold, wet and windy conditions.
This model lasts approximately 3,000 strikes.
